KATY TRAIL BIKE TOUR
September 17-20, 2026
A Cycling + Community Adventure
Over four days, we'll have a two-wheeled adventure, covering approximately 160 miles along the Katy Trail, the longest developed rail-trail in the U.S.
We’ll pedal a crushed limestone path that traces the route of an old railroad, rolling past limestone bluffs, under leafy canopies, and through a mix of farmland, forests, and wide-open prairie.
Along the way, we’ll pass through a handful of small towns where we'll eat, sleep, and explore.Â
Much of the trail hugs the Missouri River, offering long stretches of peaceful, car-free riding and big-sky views. And because it’s a rail-trail, the terrain is mostly flat and approachable.
Each day, we’ll time off the saddle to check out the town, linger over a meal, or just hang and laugh with your teammates.Â
Our weekly meetings will be held over Zoom on Mondays, starting January 19.
- All meetings will be from 7:00-8:15 pm ET/4:00-5:15 pm PT.
- We will spend about 15 minutes checking in, 20 minutes writing, and 40 minutes discussing the week’s chapter and the writing prompt.
- You do not have to attend all the meetings, but being present at least 75% of them will significantly help with processing your experience and staying accountable to your Morning Pages and Artist’s date.
- In the interest of privacy, meetings will NOT be recorded and/or shared afterward.
