We’ll train together virtually for 16 weeks—step by step, week by week—then come together in person on June 6 for an unforgettable 20-mile hike just outside Boston in stunning Wompatuck State Park.
This is teamwork at its best. You’ll arrive in Boston prepared, confident, and surrounded by fun, athletic women who are ready to take on a fun, 20-mile adventure.

You’re a runner (or former runner), hiker, or walker who loves the satisfaction of crossing a finish line after a memorable, long day. Bonus if you thrive on structured, team-oriented training.
Physically, you’re ready if you currently walk, run, hike, or strength train at least 3x per week for about 30 minutes and feel excited to build toward something bigger.
TRAINING DETAILS
Our 16-week program is designed so that on hike day, your only jobs are to move forward at a steady pace, enjoy the scenery and each other's company, and eat and drink regularly.Â
Together, we’ll incrementally build:

The cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength to go the distance;

The hydration and fueling strategy to keep your energy steady; and
-
The mental confidence that comes from proper preparation.Â
The goal: Completing 20 miles in 8 hours and soaking up the experience mile by lovely mile.
Because taking a day to head deep into Mother Nature is always time well spent—and doing it with the right preparation and the right people makes it unforgettable.
